The weeks seem to have flown by and we find ourselves entering the final month of Fizzers®: 10 Years of Caricature, our retrospective exhibition at the People’s Palace & Winter Gardens, Glasgow.

Over 120 caricatures taken from our collection of famous faces have been on display since May last year.

To see the show out in style there will be a number of events happening through March:

• Friday 17th, 13.00-14.30: cartoon & caricature careers lecture for 16-24 year olds, free of charge but places must be pre-booked, all enquiries to the museum’s Learning & Access team – 0141 276 0795

• Saturday 18th, 13.30-16.00:  Flipping Faces family activity, free of charge & available on a drop-in basis

• Saturday 25th, 13.30-16.00: Snappy Faces family activity, free of charge & available on a drop-in basis

In addition, our series of successful promotional caricature sessions at the Riverside Museum will continue, check our Facebook and Twitter feeds for announcements.

And further works by Brian Flynn from the Fizzers collection are currently on show in the tasting room at The Old Toll Bar, Glasgow.

Remember the main exhibition’s opening hours:

Fizzers: 10 Years of Caricature was made possible with the support of Glagow Life.

We thank all the staff at Glasgow Museums and the People’s Palace in particular; this will be the last temporary exhibition in the space for a while and we’re grateful to have been given the opportunity.
