A new exhibition of cartoon artwork by young people opens this weekend at Stranraer Museum.

The Art of Drawing- Our Heroes & Villains features graphic novel and animé style drawings by youngsters from across the Dumfries & Galloway region, completed during a programme of school and community workshops earlier this year.

In our 15th anniversary month we’re happy to have some of our Fizzers® caricatures featured as part of a showcase of work intended to inspire the participants and show visitors where a career in cartooning can lead.

Our friends at the Professional Cartoonists’ Organisation have sent work too.

The exhibition runs from the 3rd of May until the 7th of June.
